Vampira’s recollection

Vampira, sits  by a small spring,
A new year to recall  her dreams
Of journeys far and precious rings.
Vampira, sits by a small spring,
Nostalgic for white dragon wings,
Upon her cheeks scarlet tears stream.
Vampira, sits  by a small spring,
A new year to recall  her dreams.

This is a delicate one – I wish I could sit at Vampire’s side, looking together at the small spring and kiss the scarlet tears on her cheek.
I hope to meet Vampire many times during this year!

  3. I like the repetition here – really elevates the sense of longing in it. Sad and reflective, with good imagery – “white dragon wings” in particular. Might say I would consider removing the comma immediately after “Vampira” on each of those lines, though – just feels to me like it chops up the flow a bit with an unnecessary pause.
