Forgotten

Forgotten
Silky soft moonlight
Caressing depths of his mind
Refracting slivers of coloured light
Butterfly wings reflecting
Tinkling water pools
Remembered

  1. I love this short poem – five beautiful lines embraced by the oxymoron forgotten/remembered … like stepping stones between the two states of mind. And I like the stretch of your poem that takes your words out to the extremes of forgetting & then brings them in again to a memory. I want to say that your poem is the shape of a synaptic zing! So I have 🙂 Another lovely poem – thank you.
